Does that include the payments that Ukrainian refugees received in Europe as social security?
Recently I read that Germany has provided 14 billion in military aid but 40 billion in welfare payments to Ukrainian refugees.

…lets be honest and ad the imports from Ukraine also. This post smels like cheap propaganda. Lets help Ukraine but stay honest and truthfull. Russia recieved just payments for goods. Ukraine recieved financial aid + payments for seling stuf to Europe.

honestly not that surprising when you consider how dependent europe was on russian gas and oil before all this started

Again using Kiel institute, wich undercounts aid by at least 10 billion euros, Italy for example gave Ukraine 2 billion more than reported there, and Spain almost 3 billion more.
Its an amateur publication, parroting it is inaccurate at best and propaganda at worst

And then there is the Trump factor, setting very dangerous precedents and actively aiding with the enemy… on which we are dependant for firesupport for the last 80 years
In conclusion: we’re well and duly fucked

So there is zero imports from Ukraine?

Ukraine is receiving much more support than it did before the war, while Russia is receiving much less than it previously did. Why is this so hard to understand? If you suddenly lost a major portion of the income you rely on, would you be happy with that?
People also ignore the per-capita reality: Russia must stretch its reduced income across a much larger population, while Ukraine, with a population about three times smaller, ends up with more resources per person and less overall cost due to that smaller population.
And finally, to show how distorted the OP’s argument is: they abuse the first year of the war, when fuel prices were extremely high, to make it look as if the EU spends more on Russia overall. But that simply isn’t true when you look at the past year or two.

Also, as a side note, can we ban sfg.media? Every time I see it posted here, it’s pushing reports with a negative slant toward Ukraine and Europe.

For all of the jawboning, neither the US nor EU is willing to do what it takes for Ukraine to win. Rather, they are content with seeing Russia bleed. Sucks for Ukraine but that is the reality. 19 sanction packages and yet money still flows into Russia.

Unpopular opinion but we don’t have to tank our economy. I wouldn’t give a crap about buying ruzzian oil when we keep the Price sealing down and support Ukraine more.

This is a fundamentally dishonest comparison. It’s comparing Ukraine aid to Russian exports, while not accounting for Ukrainian exports.

This kind of headline should be outright illegal for the harm it could cause for society as a whole, because it is fucking absurd.
Why are we comparing aid vs. import/export revenue? And why is the latter only relevant for Russia?
I mean it’s probably not as high as the russian value, but to people out here think we do not trade with Ukraine?
