Peacock enclosure? That sounds like something royalty might have.

I feel we’re not making nearly enough of the peacock enclosure. What?

Shameful. I doubt Fr McVerry profited, likely trusted the wrong people. He was one of the most trusted people in Ireland, I would think….it’s going to damage a lot of organizations that might be doing good work

Well, I mean you can’t just let the peacocks roam around all over the place. An enclosure is essential with peacocks I always say.

    Nevermind the peacocks

    >two bank accounts belonging to the trust used for social housing had been almost emptied of roughly €1.5m in cash in December 2022, with that money going to two companies — Rubicon and New Directions.

    >New Directions, a private company delivering counselling services which received €350,000, was where Mr Doyle had planned to work once his tenure at the trust came to an end

    >Mr Doherty alleged that Mr Doyle had told him that the money had been transferred in order to ensure that his own future salary could be paid.

    Jesus Christ!

  8. A fucking wreck of an organisation. Honestly should have their government grants and licence revoked; the amount of waste they produce and communities they ruin, in addition to their scandals, should be evidence enough.
