would be funny if we (as in the EU) pressured the US to revise this joke of a deal in exchange for support in his lifelong quest of the medal
Trump and Putin want Europe. To get there they will have to go through Poland first. That’s what this whole shit show has been about the whole time.
Well, they will face an even worse future if they do sign it.
What we are sorely missing here is a european alternative. A strong coalition of European countries that act in concert to work towards a more reasonable peace agreement for Ukraine, and who are willing to put military behind their words.
Negotiation tactic. Probably going to have to wait til midterms to make any kind of serious deal. When Trump’s power is on the line, he will side with Ukraine to save his own ass. History has proven this. All part of his “art of a deal”
They want Ukraine to capitulate, but if you disagree, then they will ask to capitulate harder. Interesting. The thing is, if we don’t accept, we are in better situation than if when we accept it. Trump doesn’t understand that Ukraine has “We don’t have a choice” card, and can’t be dictated actually.
Level of understanding the situation in Ukraine of American current administration is just ridiculously bad.

Ukraine will still say no to this deal because it’s pretty much worse than without any United States weapons. The President of Ukraine saying no deal is more likely tapping on mostly the most likely thing to happen than he signs this document.
