*Tom Brufatto, policy director of Best for Britain, which campaigns for closer UK-EU ties, told The Mirror: “*[*Nigel Farage*](https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/nigel-farage)*’s plans are clearly designed to jeopardize the progress being made on the UK’s relationship with the EU, the result of which would further impede businesses trading with Europe, and push up prices for voters already struggling with the cost of living.*

*“He championed* [*Brexit*](https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/brexit) *for years, which our polling shows voters know was a failure and has made the country poorer, and now he wants to do even more damage. He claims to be on the side of Britain, but in reality his policies always leave us worse off.”*

When you have British soldiers on the streets or British citizens that can’t get jobs, reliable housing, or proper support; we’ve already been made second class citizens by Labour and Conservative governments.

Its time for the shoe to be put on the other foot.

I’m no Farage fan, but they can’t be second class citizens when they are not citizens

Yes, British citizens vs non British citizens do tend to have different rights in Britain.

There’s even difference between those non citizens who are settled and those who are here on a limited basis. Is that third class citizens then?

Farage is a one-trick pony. Obsessed with immigration but has nothing to say about improving people’s lives – except those of his rich “sponsors”.

In the EU you can’t claim benefits for eternity if you are  from outside the EU. The EU will not give a monkeys about this .

Loath as I am to agree being politically polar opposite to him, I do have to question why EU migrants get special treatment over non-EU migrants.

Pretty much every EU country is well off too, why would someone moving here need to claim benefits?

Genuine question, not trying to wind people up.

It’s up to the left to sort out immigration, otherwise they’ll let Nigel in. Don’t they understand that?
