Si prevede che le mie decisioni sulle candidature da parte delle università finlandesi arriveranno a marzo e l’inizio del semestre accademico è previsto per agosto.
Sono preoccupato per il tempo necessario per il processo di richiesta del permesso di soggiorno per studenti. Ho sentito rapporti non confermati secondo cui l’elaborazione può richiedere una notevole quantità di tempo, mettendo potenzialmente a repentaglio la mia capacità di iniziare il mandato in tempo.
Apprezzerei molto una stima affidabile dell’attuale durata dell’elaborazione per un permesso di soggiorno per studenti in Finlandia, in particolare dal Nepal 🙂

I can not really help you there, but I just wanted to say that judging by the number of Nepalese restaurants you can find in each and every town in Finland, there must be a pretty substantial Nepalese community in FI already. Maybe you can try to find if they have some fora where they exchange experiences for more knowledgeable feedback 🙂
i received my residence permit in just 8 days however my friend who applied for residence permit on the same day got visa refusal after waiting for 8 months. I came to Joensuu, Finland on august 2025.
