How do Ukrainians feel?
As an emotionally involved Brit, from what i’ve this puts nothing on Russia, and the military cuts on the Ukraine side required mean that there’s little to no protection against Russia using a ceasefire to build up arms and forces and go for the whole enchilada again
hopefully i’m wrong but i feel this isn’t wise and that any guarantees will have too much wiggle room for Trump or Germany to wiggle out of

Just saw this on CNN. Is this really happening? Why would Ukraine agree to it?
I think the conditions were changed in past hours and now it is not just Russia list of demands. Which also makes this kinda pointless because now I think Russia will not agree to it.

Most of us haven’t seen the details but I don’t think President Z would agree to a bad deal for Ukraine.
Nonstarter. Russia won’t agree.
It makes sense for Ukraine to support a US-brokered plan from a phycological game point of view. Even if they think the terms are rough, they know there is no way Russia is agreeing to any of this (and that includes the original draft btw) and at that point the Orange turd cannot blame Ukraine anymore because they agreed to everything.
It is important to remember Russia’s goal of this war – the elimination of Ukraine as a sovereign state with the aim of continuing their conquest into Europe until the natural geographic chokepoints can be controlled. This “peace plan” accomplishes none of that and they will never accept anything close to this.

Doesn’t really matter. Russia can’t and won’t agree to anything less than their original demands. Any deals will be broken at the drop of a hat, and at Russia’s leisure. But hopefully their refusal will help the US grow a spine and assist Ukraine with more. The US could truly bring this conflict to a speedy end but it’s scared of Russias defeat and what shit Putin has on trump.
Zelensky is smart. He knows that Russia will never agree to it so by accepting it he appeases trump and keeps Putin rejects the plan for him
Russia will reject big beautiful peace plan. Trump will turn orange and hopefully send more weapons to Ukraine to speak language that Russia understands.

I think that Ukraine would have agreed to this modified plan also a year ago. But Zelenskyy is soon going to meet Trump and Trump is going to try to convince Zelenskyy to Russias actual demands (round 3). First Trump will try to use his charm and if that doesn’t work then will use threats and verbal abuse. He may explode and have a heart attack. I can see Ukraine eventually agreeing to not join NATO the next 10 years. Their weapons and ammunition arsenal after a couple of years will be intimidating enough I think.
So the USA and Orcs are gonna negotiate together. Some “minor” alterations are made by Bubba the leader of Orcs, Zelenskyi will obviously not accept and President Bone Spurs is gonna throw a hissy fit.
Hear me out! Ukraine should’ve pushed for an all out, no weapons cage fight to the very end where Zelenskyi and Putain duke it out type of deal. Winner gets to keep the land.
