The EU current has tons of issues to work on itself, I used to be a fervent supporter of a federal Europe, but with how it willy nilly appoints Europe’s corrupt outcasts as its leadership (Von der Leyen, António Costa, etc) and can’t help but betray its “people first, profits second” motto every now and then when no one’s looking, they need a lot to square up in their house before investing in a federalization

With how fast nationalism is progressing in Europe, I don’t see this becoming a reality for the 20 years to come at least.
