At what cost? Not to diminish the technical merit. A Shahed is said to cost around 100k.

But of course if it’s either spending a $1M AA missile or letting someone die, then that’s taxpayer money well spent, at least as long as there is a sufficient supply of missiles.

I guess the decisions involved in protecting as many people as possible are hard and data is always incomplete. People making those decisions day after day… I hope they get at least the recognition they deserve.
