27 novembre 1701. Anders Celsius, l’astronomo, fisico e matematico svedese nacque a Uppsala. Fu professore di astronomia all’Università di Uppsala e nel 1742 propose la scala della temperatura centigrada, poi chiamata Celsius in suo onore.
