Very surprised? If I am surprised by something, it is that he waited so long. It is not as if we hadn’t had hints for years that he was a Russian asset. Helsinki 2018 was literally him screaming that he had sold himself to Russia.

They don’t just believe, they are involved and do his bidding.

And they wonder from where the “prejudice” that they are stupid is coming from 😀

A large majority of Republicans surveyed blame Putin for the war continuing. In second place is Trump. This type of brain-dead nonsense from this MEP is just so stupid.

I would say in general Americans have a much more realistic image of Putin and Russia than Western (!) Europeans. It’s just the orange man and his entourage that acts a bit strange.

American and British representatives of conservative political movements have long-standing and strong ties with Russian conservatives, which is due to a number of factors contributing to mutually beneficial cooperation. First of all, Russia has significant reserves of natural resources, including minerals, raw materials and energy sources, which makes it an attractive partner for foreign investors. In addition, the availability of cheap labor creates additional economic advantages for potential investors.
From a geopolitical point of view, the common enemy in the face of the European Union (EU) contributes to the consolidation of the interests of American and British conservatives with their Russian counterparts. The EU, as the main economic competitor in the global economy, poses a strategic threat to countries seeking to preserve their economic and political independence. In these circumstances, the formation of an alliance between the conservative forces of the United States, Great Britain and Russia is becoming particularly important.
Thus, cooperation between American, British and Russian conservatives can be considered as a strategic alliance based on common economic interests and countering common geopolitical threats.
