Purtroppo uno dei soldati del battaglione di artiglieria di Brasschaat è deceduto ieri dopo un incidente con un mortaio.
Ci sono poche informazioni. L’esercito belga attualmente utilizza i nuovi mortai spagnoli Expal da 60 e 81 mm oltre ai vecchi mortai francesi pesanti MO-120 da 120 mm.
Da quello che conosco in campo militare, molto probabilmente si è verificata una detonazione prematura di un proiettile durante lo sparo, ma ancora nessun dettaglio.

A few days in the news, some politicians playing it emotionally as patriotic and eventually be forgotten. My condolences.
Sad reality is, what or who defines the worth of a human life?
Especially now with the fear mongering and increased polarisation, hostility among allies, riling up youth to take arms and get in the army….
Who still believes there is a greater good in the motives of those actions?
