      That is NOT anywhere near close actual numbers of Turkey, it is somewhere between 30 to 40

      German here: When the company installed new fiber optic cables where I used to live a couple years ago, they also offered them to the apartment building. The owners’ association, made up of a bunch of pensioners, rejected the offer because we “already have a telephone cable.” So we were stuck with the old 16k copper line.

      Ireland has **all** the internet cables going through it. Why is it so… bland.

      Surfing with my 4G, it took a while for the picture to load! I’m downloading a steam game as I scroll reddit, admittedly.

      That’s a huge improvement I think for Greece. We used to be in the lowest of the lowest.

      In the Cold war, Bulgaria quickly adapt the computer knowledge. After the Cold war, Bulgaria still kept computer knowledge & quickly adapt the digital age. Bulgaria quickly mastered min-max internet speed.

      Bulgaria government is corrupt and “slow responders “, but letting internet freedom exist, let us survive in the digital age.

      I’m in Upper Franconia, Germany with 02/Telefonica and I get 150+ 🤷🏻

      I don’t see the point of some super fast connection. I am paying 5 euro for 100mbit/s in Bulgaria. After the first year it will be 8 euro. The high speed connections are way more expensive.

      Utterly unlimited data here, and very cheap generally, but you’ll get 5G displayed and bizarrely low speeds like not unusual to see less than 30mbit/s in the middle of cities. I think it’s a mixture of overloaded networks due to the vast amount of data being used, and probably throttling.

      I can confirm in Croatia that small provider (Pro ping) has build significant fibre connections throught rular places and under 10k small cities, where big providers wont build (min 300/100 d/u for 20 € monthly and 6 months for 1€).

      I think Bulgaria and Romania are reversed.
      Most people I know have the 1gbps pack in Romania, my friends in Bulgaria have 100mbps.
      edit: Nevermind, it’s mobile data. That makes sense, the countries that implemented it last, have the fastest.
