Seen this one before.
Well, the left extremists smashed car windows of cars driven by the fascists. It is not like the police was charging at perfectly peaceful demonstrations, otherwise parts of the “protesters” wouldn’t be covered up as you can see on this picture.
The country is divided and the police is doing their best to stay in the middle. It just doesn’t help that from the far left the police always was the opposing side with all the “anti establishment”.
Edit: take a look at the injured people in the article: 10-15 police, 0-10 protestors (the protest organizer said 0, hospitals reported 10). The police was in protective gear. There seems to be some violence by the protestors involved that isn’t mentioned in the title.
It’s always the same: Police sides with the extreme right. Whenever I have interactions with police I always assume I am talking to a fascist. No trust at all.
History books will say the exact same thing.
They have literally blocked highways for normal people, Gießen is quite a big city and not even regular people could easily travel on this day.
