Savage for me as a northsider but anyone else notice the lack of southbound services? Anyone have insight as to why?

Shouldn’t it just be like this all the time? Public transports ends too early.

Again, note how it’s only the greater Dublin and commuter area

    Look at the times added…

    * 00:30 and 01:30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
    * 00:35 and 01:35 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
    * 00:40 and 01:40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
    * 00:27 and 02:10 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
    * 23:55 and 01:58 from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare

Not a single service that would help anyone who was going to a late bar or club event.

I obviously welcome any and all improvements but like WTF – can we catch up with reality like.

Those commutter railcars are louder and more obnoxious than the locomotives they replaced. I’m convinced of it.

Even kilometres away from the station you can hear the drone of the diesel engines all roaring up at once. Beside them, they’re even louder.

At least the big EMD’s were a lot less obnoxious to be around.

When I’m dictator I’m making locomotive haulage mandatory.
