I feel bad for her, apparently she does a bit for advocacy against the war

Public humiliation is what they deserve.

Seeing the comments on Facebook and Insta you could assume the west is the worst thing happened to earth or at least to Russia. Yet pro Russians and even the daughter of Russias President prefer the life here (lower saxonian German here, part of the west).
Ironic

“You have not permission to film”
Did Ukraine gave their permission for Russia to take Crimea in 2014? Or permission for Russia to invade in 2022?

First some context:
Putin’s two older public daughters are sanctioned:
*“The sanctions appear designed to increase pressure on Putin personally by embarrassing him because he has tried so hard to keep his daughters out of the spotlight and also because there is reason to believe that they are holding his wealth,” said Thomas Firestone*
Putin’s ex-wife/mistress Anna Kabaeva and her grandmother Anna Zatseplina are sanctioned.
Yelizaveta’s mother Svetlana Krivonogikh was sanctioned for investments in Bank Rossiya. Yelizaveta herself was never sanctioned, even if she’s why her mother became rich.
Yelizaveta is 22 so barely out of Universitry. She could easily become sanctioned if she does not stay clean though, even by inheriting and benefitting from her mother’s investments. At the same time, if she stands up too publically against Putin then she might never be able to travel to Russia to inherit those investments. That’s her sticky situation.
Now Nastya Rodionova raised legitimate opsec concerns:
*“We are talking about artists (showcased in the galleries) who fled the regime,” Rodionova told the Kyiv Independent.*
*“Many of them are in danger. They shared all their personal information with the gallery staff without knowing who works there — it upset them very much (to learn about her).”*
It’s otoh likely that Yelizaveta brings in more money for those anti-war artists, becuase those rich Russian and Ukranian art buyers probably enjoy having Putin’s daughter trying to sell them anti-war artwork. lol
Afaik there are only three actioanable concerns:
– France’s DGSE etc has some obligation to figure out if Yelizaveta or Svetlana Krivonogikh pose any threat to other French and Russian refugees. I’d hope DSGE investigated them even before the war, given the France v Russia proxy wars in Africa.
– Yelizaveta’s employers should practice good opsec by ensuring that Yelizaveta, and they themselves, never learn anything too dangerous about their artists. At the extreme they could’ve public opsec policies, which they even get audited.
– Assuming Yelizaveta or Svetlana Krivonogikh wish to be French, then they should develop some loyalty and tell DGSE if they know anything useful. It’s unlikely they know anything though.
tl;dr They’ll sanction her fast if they catch her hand in the cookie jar. If you don’t like her, then buy your artworks form artists living in Ukraine instead of artists living in Paris.

If Anna Kabaeva has children, they would be 15-20 and do not appear sanctioned:
