    1. I think it’s decades since I heard anyone call it Hennes og Mauritz, people i know say H M (Hå Emm).

It was called Hennes & Mauritz when it was established I belive. The H & M brand was only outside Scandinavia in the beginning as far as I know.

      The letters, HM, “Hå Emm”.

I also speak Polish, and they do the same there, either with or without the &; “Ha i Em” or “Ha Em”.

Some newspaper articles from Norway regarding Hennes & Mauritz (not «H&M»):

      https://www.nettavisen.no/hennes-og-mauritz/

Even at the Norwegian Yellow Pages:

Nobody in Norway calles them «H&M». It’s either «Hennes & Mauritz» or «H M», without any «and» or similar between the H and the M.

“Acca emme” as in the English words “Aca(demic)” and “eme(ritus)”.
