The Omnibus proposal for Pesticides is another proposal from the European Commission that goes against the citizen’s interest, and I haven’t seen much attention being brought to this proposal outside of French circles.
I haven’t seen it posted on r/Europe, so I’m posting it here so more people can see it and contact our representatives to get this blocked…
Anyone here that can provide an alternative view to what’s being reported?
The shared article is very heavily biased, it mixes facts with presumed behavior and presumed intentions.
While I definitely see why we should raise our eyebrows and ask questions, we should also be careful and not believe every unfounded claim there is.

next step: hormone-treated meat permitted
As someone trained in Environmental Medicine, I can say with ease this is horrific. Why potentially expose the world to destruction and suffering? Sit in a cancer ward with the person you love the most. Then decide you like gambling on Profitable Pesticides. Seriously. Guilty until proven innocent with excellent statistical support (p=0.005, no I’m not joking).
What’s up with the EU commission lately?
