      I remember as a kid thinking and feeling safe being guarded by the US. Feeling we have a genuine superpower as an ally (I’m a Brit). I’ve never felt so concerned about global world order as now.

      Zelensky should state he will enter into direct talks with Russia where peace can be exchanged for a chunk of Alaska.

      For crimes such as this I would think the only thing Ukraine could consider “compromising” on would be the amount of Russian restitution, rather than making the Russian crime worse by ceding territory under duress. I’d be interested in hearing a legal perspective.

      No, the United States is NOT looking for a compromise. trump is looking for a *deal* to appease his überlord putin, is what I think.

      I am so happy to know several good people in USA. They are as embarrassed as disgusted by what their president is doing to them, us, Ukraine and others. It proves that there are as many victims there as elsewhere. It’s devastatingly sad that Ukrainian lives are wasted because of him and his asslickers.

      The problem unfortunatly is that we have about 26% of the country who are racist fucks, 49% of the country who doesnt give enough of a shit to get off social media and go vote, and 25% who are reasonable and vote, but cant win because they are now in the minority.

      The United States purchased Alaska from russia on March 30, 1867, for $7.2 million, a deal signed by Secretary of State William H. Seward for the United States and diplomat Eduard de Stoeckl for russia, and now remembered as “Seward’s Folly.” Shouldn’t the United States sell it back to russia… to preserve peace in the future… now that Trump wants to move another nation’s borders… asking for a friend? 😉
