This is 100% a distraction tactic.
They’d rather the public talk about Brexit again instead of actually talking about what Labour is up to: postponing elections again, ripping up the judicial system, lying about the budget to inflate taxes when it ran a surplus; etc.
I fear I am alone in supporting this.

you can not take just the benefits. that is implausible to happen at any point in time! you can not take just the customs without the rest of EU laws,regulations etc :)) cherry-picking what you like and what you do not like is not an option :))

I’d absolutely benefit from joining Warren Buffet in his investments and business. The question is if he also wants that.
UK may benefit, but does EU approve of that? There are rumors that EU may insist that unlike last time, UK should join as all other members, without any special privileges.
I can’t wait for another round of acrimonious negociations.
Any attempt to rejoin would be on such punitive terms it would be impossible for a British government to deliver.

Everyone except putin (Brexit still is a major victory for russia) and trump would benefit of UK rejoining the Euro pack. Even with no UK special privileges this time. But, yeah… It takes guts.
Join the EU fully like everybody else with all the advantages and disadvantages.
You don’t get the advantages without fully committing to it.
The UK is suffering. The EU is not.
