  1. The article just touches on this, but would that flag have been in the middle of the away section?

If that’s the case I find it completely logical that it’s moved, no matter what it says.

However, knowing what utter cunts the Slavia supporters are, it would be very funny if someone hung a huge banner next to, or above the away section, saying something completely childish, but which would piss off the cavemen at Slavia, like an arrow pointing to them saying ‘Gay’, or ‘we’re all secretly in the closet’, or something to that effect.

If I was running Tottenham, I’d have just made the rainbow flag even bigger and placed it in such a way so that it both blocks the view of the Slavia supporters but it isn’t so close that they can tear it down or destroy it.

Why is it always “we need to respect their beliefs” when it comes to Anti LGBT rhetoric but never the other way around

Surely the logical step is to ban fuckwit fans from travelling with the team.

This completely defeats the point of Pride. How embarrassing.

People saying the flag being moved is embarrassing or anti pride seriously are short minded.

They’ve said they wanted it moved and what do you think they’d do if they didn’t? Likely destroy/damage/vandalise it – which is even worse for the cause.

Best thing they could have done (as they did) was move it somewhere else in the stadium where they have to stare at it for 90 mins before paying a fortune for their tube home, hotel, train to Stansted airport (likely getting a fine for trying to tap in and out) and finally getting on their shitty plastic Ryanair flight back to Prague.
