      Capitalism is not only broken, but has also been replaced by something much worse, according to economist and former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis. He has been studying market developments for years and argues that capitalism is on its last legs and has been overtaken by something new. In his book Technofeudalism: What killed capitalism, he calls the new system technofeudalism. A traditional capitalist gave 85 percent of the profits to the workers. At a company like Meta, employees only get one percent.

      And not having big techs is destroying Europe’s sovereignty, so pick your poison, I guess.

      we just cant allow people to have too much money especially people we do not elect.

      I honestly find the term technofeudalism very silly. Tech corporations down own anyone, you don´t have to ask them for permission if you want to move or marry. The goal of companies is to make money so their nature is still a business one. People visit websites out of their own desires and avoiding giving them money is very easy. Technofeudalism is just scary word used to scare people. It is especially nonsensical in European union which highly regulates tech companies.
