It’s worth noting this comes on the heels of the Walloon government reducing animal welfare subsidies by 86%.
I’m sorry but this just isn’t the time. This doesn’t even bring in (much) tourism, the park is not easily reached even with the new train station. It’s an investment for the wealthy, who don’t care about the recession and just want to have fun.
giving subsidies to one of the richest man in Belgium, while raising taxes and cutting back on wages.
