It is a pity that I don’t understand Portuguese. Will it have subtitles in English or Finnish?

Brazilians leave Brazil to run away from corruption and violence, trying to get a better life.

But they try to replicate their culture in those countries and can’t fathom that those countries doesn’t really care about Brazilian customs, so they get sad and depressed.

Like they like to hug a lot, then they complain that Finnish people don’t like hugs, therefore they think the Finnish people are the ones who are wrong.

Lived in karelia for some months and many years on the north,it was very different and beautiful at first, just as they say in the video,as time went by i actually started to know myself better, just because ive never had so much time to spend by myself, also fewer and less deep interactions with other people helped me to discover this side of mine. After some time I realized that I was a completely different person and my family also pointed it out to me

The thing is that most Brazilians tend to adapt to the culture pretty quickly, while also having what i consider WEAK cultural traits ( this isnt something bad/good per se) and this leads to the formation of a new self, that is way too different from your old self in brazil.

When they finally realize that they now have two identities , comparison kicks in and guess what?

Now, this person likes the systematic rules of a very organized society, the respect of personal space, the welfare system, preserved nature and etc. but also rejoice all the bad aspects just like exaggerated bureaucracy, lack of spontaneity, smiles, sun and etc

It takes a while to figure out what you prefer, but one thing is for sure, after this experience you’re forever dammed to comparison
