I still think that only part of Europe is getting it and it’s my feeling that those countries are lacking a comprehension of the gravitas of what’s going down. They just want it to go away. Well it’s not going to. And I think that’s what happens when you have major conflagrations you have this foot dragging as shit gets worse.

X to doubt.
Not to shit on EU though, but don’t expect anything.
recent financial support package just got shut down due to belgium vetoing it.
Norway considered to back it up as a guarantor for the loan, but that also got shut down in the local parlament.
not hating on belgium for vetoing it, its reason is at least reasonable (it wants all EU countries to be a guarantor for the loan, not a select few, in case everything gets lost)
the EU is still stuck in a bureaucratic quagmire.
We can only hope that they find reason and push foreward and stop bickering over things that in the end, is petty consider the much more significant consequences for all of EU countries if UA falls.
Especially consider US having gone complete schizo.

I just hope it won’t just be “sounding” serious.

Like who is going to attack? Please explain it to me.
Russia cannot even overcome Ukraine.

Russia threatens to glass London and Paris every other week so this a fairly mild soundbite and frankly a step in the right direction rhetoric wise

Maybe we should just help Ukraine destroy Russian aggression and Putin. So we could live peacefully with a non aggressive Russia.

They might be saying it, but will they act in time, with enough manpower, and warfighting material to counter what’s coming for them next? They are currently barely supplying Ukraine with enough materials to slow the advances of Putin’s Russia as it is.

Older Europeans know what’s coming…it’s the younger generations that have never been told or shown what happens if you don’t stand up for friends in need
