      If all he is going to deliver is a shit deal that means the war will restart in a matter of years? Good idea.

      Can’t say I think this is a bad plan. As Trump is transactional it should be possible to pay for access to satellite/intelligence data and equipment Europe can’t supply to Ukraine at this time, unless the USA embraces Russia further.

      The 1956 Suez Crisis was the end of European superpowers.  The 2022 Invasion of Ukraine is the end of European major powers.

      But how will Trump get a good review from his boss, Putin, if he doesn’t get Ukraine to just lie down and surrender?

      They should call him out as a probable Russian asset and shut him out. If Trump wants to intervene then he should just be ignored. He isn’t going to give any more support to Ukraine so he won’t be missed.

      We can send the long range missiles to Ukraine even if the Americans won’t.

      The EU should make its own peace deal effort.

      They dislike the US deal, and rightfully so. But they offer no alternative.
