Irish people don’t care. We just want increased government spending. Our politicians know this.

In other news water is wet.

The big question is, what contingencies are our government putting in place to mitigate the very obvious vulnerability?

If none, they are setting us up for a potential very big fall.

And just wtf were multiple governments supposed to do about it over multiple decades? Diversify or something? Communist talk.

While Tech MNCs leaving is a worry, something that nobody is really talking about is Pharma. It’s quite resilient in the short to medium term and it has a really good position in our trade relationship with the US and China but China is actively looking to take that manufacturing domestic as they’ve done with literally everything else.

    They’re already preparing for it.
