What is the name of the project? Is it ITER? It is a multinational project, if you are talking about that. Not just EU – Japan.
Wild to think If they pull this off, Future generations Might literally inherit a Star powered Earth.

There is not much advantage of fusion over fission reactors.
We should absolutely do research and fund projects like this, but it will not revolutionize energy harvesting.
They have to add “little star” clickbait cheese into the title, fusion is not enough. Damn, i hate clickbait and sensational headlines. ITER in France has been under construction since 2013.
I hope this leads to as many insane conspiracy theories as the CERN/Hadron Collider ones.
