Ciao compagni umani dal vasto mondo selvaggio, oggi vengo qui in pace per chiedere umilmente cosa potrebbe essere questa cosa. Mi è stato regalato (sono una receptionist in una piccola guesthouse) da due simpatiche persone albanesi, e sembra che sia un portafortuna (parole loro). Questa campana ha qualche proprietà magica o mistica? Qual è la storia o il mito dietro? Spero che non sia solo una cosa e non ci sto pensando inutilmente trolol

      Oh but it has those amazing magical properties, that you seek. Place it anywhere in your home, and the amount of dust that you’ll have to remove from it, on a fortnightly basis, would be truly remarkable, for there would be no other dust – gatherer so powerful in all the land…

    4. It’s a cattle bell. People do indeed hang them in their homes for good luck.

      Yes, it’s a lucky charm. It’s a bell, which is put on a small grazing farm animal (e.g. goat), so one cat track the animal when it’s grazing among trees and shrubs.

      What’s nice about the one you have, is that (AFAICT) it’s the real deal. Not a cheap imitation, made for tourists, but one which was made to be, and indeed was, used.

      These things used to be quite expensive (in the old days). So losing one was back luck and finding one was good luck. Hence, a lost and found one, is a lucky charm.
