One of the few industries we should be backing to the hilt in this country.

With music sounding the same every year, this is probably going to be our biggest cultural export in the coming decades.

How the fuck is GTA6 even a topic in high politics lol? 😀 This is work legislation issue, so let the court deservedly destroy Rockstar, no need for Polish and UK ministers addressing GTA6 delays 😀

MPs went to talk to Rock Star and Rock Star tried to insist they sign a NDA before the meeting

    >MP Chris Murray shared further, eyebrow-raising detail of his attempts to discuss the matter with Rockstar itself, including a joint meeting alongside fellow Edinburgh MPs Tracy Gilbert and Scott Arthur at Rockstar North’s offices which began with a standoff over the need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
    >
    >”The meeting began with us as MPs refused entry unless an NDA was signed, a request they eventually withdrew after it being made clear this would not be signed,” Murray said.
    >
    >He continued: “The meeting only entrenched my concerns about the process Rockstar used to dismiss so many of their staff members. I was not assured their process paid robust attention to UK employment law, I was not convinced that this course of action was necessary, and alarmingly, I did not leave informed on exactly what these 31 people had done to warrant their immediate dismissal.”

Coming from the man who is arguably the most anti-union Labour leader ever.

We got the UK Prime Minister talking about GTA6 worker rights before GTA6.

Has he finally remembered that he’s a *Labour* PM and is supposed to be on the side of the workers?

  7. Yeah right. In the same way they ‘investigated’ the ferry firm firing everyone and then rehiring at lower rates and disadvantageous terms. Lots of promises that ‘something would be done’ and of course, sweet f. a. was done.

Rockstar is one of the worst big gaming companies in when it comes to treating their employees. They make good games at the expense of abusing their employees.

I dont understand why there arn’t a nation wide programmers and coders union that all game developers, programmers and software engineers would be members of…

Thats how my nation organize itself, through a “grouping of professions” into a union, nationwide…
