Ciao dalla Finlandia! Non ricordo esattamente come sia iniziato, ma ascolto musica polacca da molto tempo. C’è qualcosa che mi colpisce sinceramente, forse la malinconia che incombe sullo sfondo, o forse il tuo linguaggio poetico, che tra l’altro non capisco se non le basi.
Quindi anch’io ho una domanda. I gruppi/artisti che mi sono piaciuti di più sono Akurat, Koniec Śviata, Poparzeni Kawą Trzy, Lao Che, T.Love, Happysad. Quindi fondamentalmente Rock/Ska/Alternative ma mi piacciono anche altri generi. Per favore suggeritemi altra buona musica polacca. L’epoca non ha importanza, può essere roba nuova o vecchia.
Oh e per ultimo, qualcuno sa perché i primi tre album di Akurat non possono essere trovati su Spotify? Oppure sono disponibili in qualche altro servizio di streaming oltre a Youtube? Dziękuję!

Don’t know for sure if this is the case with Akurat, but many other bands from that time were signed up in a record label that went bankrupt or something. For instance Illusion and Closterkeller (another recommendations) had to rerecord some of their early albums.
Specifially about Akurat I heard a story that the first label contract they signed up was giving out basically their whole rights to the music to the label. To the point that when they played on the charity event and there was a DVD from this concert relased, they had to pay the label crazy amount of money. I read about it in the local newspaper ~15 years ago so I might not remebering it right.
The early Akurat albums are not available on Spotify due to a copyright dispute and a conflict with the vocalist, who was fired for drinking, if I remember correctly. They are the best albums in my opinion, but unfortunately, the collaboration was disastrous

I’m suprised nobody has mentioned Myslovitz yet. If you’ll go for their music, then try out both “Miłość w Czasach Popkultury” and “Korova Milky Bar” (or at least every album until “Happiness Is Easy”)
