Questa squadra composta da un norvegese e molti ucraini ha ricevuto aiuto per l’inverno. Fa FREDDO in Ucraina e abbiamo molte richieste di aiuto per stare al caldo, soprattutto perché le squadre sono spesso intrappolate nella posizione. You can tell just from the voices in this video that it is COLD now in Ukraine. Winter is fully here and it seems like this will be a long time. This is a mixed team of Ukrainians and foreigners. The soldier speaking is Bucket, a Norwegian serving with the AFU. They received lip balm, medical supplies, hot sauce, and hand warmers. All of these were provide through fundraisers here!

We have a LOT of requests to help stay warm this winter. Teams are asking for more hand and foot warmers and more socks. Why socks? Well you can never have enough socks. But the big reason is because they are very often getting trapped on position due to drones. They get resupplied via drone or ground drone. Getting fresh clean warm socks is like Christmas arrives.

It might feel like you can’t do much to help them but the reality is donations for shower packs, socks, morale boosting snacks, warm drinks, hand/foot warmers, or other cold weather gear are always needed and always appreciated. These costs add up for soldiers because they must buy them themselves. Usually a $5 donation enables us to get a pair of socks, a packet of beef jerky, a coffee packet, a pair of hand warmers, and a shower pack. That’s a pretty awesome Christmas gift.
