His stance on Ukraine is one of his few redeeming qualities. I’m in his district and call every couple of weeks to push for more US aid to Ukraine and stronger commitment to the Baltics.

To any Ukrainians – I’m sorry the US isn’t doing more.

It would be an apt comparison, too bad Trump (and most Americans) has no idea who Chamberlain is

Trump is so uneducated he likely will take this as a compliment

He’s more like Edward VIII (the adulterous pro-Nazi king).

Chamberlain had a shred of honor by resigning on May 10, 1940 when the Germans launched their invasion of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands – something Emperor Hirocheeto, Putin and the 140 million+ guardians of the Neo-Gоldеn Ноrdе decisively and indisputably lack.

His resignation was also a few days after a fellow Соnѕеrvаtіvе, Leo Amery, had said to Chamberlain “[**In the name of God, go!**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_name_of_God,_go)” during the [Norway Debate](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norway_Debate). In that debate, much of the House of Commons across the aisle dunked hard on Chamberlain and his government for overseeing the рiѕѕ-poor performance of Britain in WW II to that point.

Amery was echoing Oliver Cromwell’s speech of 1653 to the members of the Rump Parliament in which he said “*You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you.* ***In the name of God, go!***”
