      All I get from this is, Russia is simultaneously militarily incompetent and on the verge of military and economic collapse and an unstoppable force on the verge of taking over all of Ukraine and then onto the rest of Europe.

      I don’t see why the two should be mutually exclusive. The only real way to ensure peace is to be ready for war at any time and show the enemy that you mean business.

      Europeans can’t fight. Indeed, they brag about not being able to fight, it’s like a class-signifier (our quality of life is so great we have the luxury of being p**sies, it’s even endearing).

      I don’t think Russia would be stupid enough to attack NATO, but it can’t hurt for Europe to message this to the population and project strength and urgency.

      I don’t want my money going to a war that US has not much of an incentive to get into. Europeans have show they’re too scared to lift a finger against Putin. This can be shown from their dwindling aid packages to Ukraine, the abstinence of some EU countries because “they have no stake or past history against Russia “, and their constant buying of Russian oil through India. If the sad and pathetic Europeans really cared about the Russian threat than they must be prepared and willing to shed their own blood and money.

      Ohh come on. Ukraine is making all the sacrifices for Europe. As long as Ukraine is standing, Russia will not be able to think about any adventures in Europe.

      Europeans can enjoy their peaceful, prosperous lives.
