A quanto pare, una delle mie parenti polacche, una signora sulla cinquantina, ha ricevuto all’improvviso una lettera dall’esercito polacco che le diceva che se glielo chiedessero, sarebbe diventata un’autista per l’esercito. Non solo, ma anche la sua macchina sarà requisita per lo scopo, essendo un’auto a tre oa cinque porte standard. Non ha avuto alcun legame in precedenza con l’esercito.
Dico “apparentemente” perché, nonostante provenga dalla fonte, lo trovo quasi incredibile. Qualcun altro ha avuto qualcosa di simile?
Dio aiuti quelle coraggiose truppe guidate attraverso il paese da mia zia, sarebbe la prima a dire che potrebbero preferire scegliere un altro autista.
L’unico riferimento (almeno in inglese) che posso vedere è Qui . Ad essere onesti, sono sorpreso che questo non abbia colpito la stampa internazionale.
Mi scuso se tutto questo è ovviamente noto e sto semplicemente vivendo sotto una roccia, è stato scioccante per me.

Lady in her 50s with no military experience? I doubt this strongly. There were letters, but sent to the “most useful” (age, relevant degree)
Well known fact, they can also take your microwave and convert it for an anti drone canon.
Not sure about the driving, but the army can 100% “borrow” your car for their own purposes if they need it, so that part is legit. It doesn’t really happen though, but they might be preparing for the possibility.
