      There is a small coffee shop I go where a young guy working there always salutes people like this and laughs. People think it’s a joke or they are being edgy.

      Too bad that there will be no consequences and the little imbeciles won’t learn a lesson.

      While in Germany, the motherland of this gesture, it is punishable by a hefty fine and up to 3 years in prison.

      No, they don’t. When I was 10 I scribbled swastika on someone’s (steel and painted) garage. I did it just to do something daring. Zero thoughts were given to the history or political meaning.

      It is an indication of how dangerous Nazism can become.

      The fact that this mental illness has an impact on people after adulthood has to do with the stagnation of perception from the mature development that exists at these ages in the individuals in the photograph.
