    For some reason I was reminded of Lipitor Man, who dragged a girl into a bush and later claimed no recollection.

    Probably for the best that cases like these get stiff enough sentences, to soften the cough of anyone else thinking of doing the same in future.

    Yet if she ran up and gave him a box in the face she’d have only got a slap on the wrist and a €50 fine.

    Not saying she was in anyway correct or justified in what she did, but If she’d did it to any regular citizen or even small business owner or employee, she would’ve just got a warning or caution.

    The real message here is setting an example surrounding the extra protections for political representatives and a deterrant against similar online threat to deter a certain type of social media user that comments on immigration and such.
