Truth to be told the photo is outdated

Where exactly is this? I remember visiting Poland in the late 80s and early 90s. Luckily so much has improved since then and I really like driving there now.

We are kinda famous for how fucking slow is to build highways here

It’s a bit sad we’re still building road infrastructure in 2025. I guess change is slow

For anyone interested what the actual situation looks like as of yesterday: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8N_QqKul8k](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8N_QqKul8k)

The segment on the Czech side of the border passes through a complicated mountainous terrain and thus is more expensive and takes longer to build. Scheduled completion is 2027.

Picture actually shows different place, around 30km north from the border. Road used to end there few years ago. It was done probably around 2020 or prior. It shows Bolków junction. So thats not the border with Czechia.

All I see is two fantastic parallel runways with a taxiway, ruined by lampposts.

    Wow. So little traffic
    Well done.

Anyway, as is often the case in bed: people hardly finish both at the same time.

  9. This part continueing to Czechia will be opened next year. A few km only, but still. Bigger part of D11 to Trutnov in 2028 IIRC.
