I’ve always really enjoyed the very multi-national operations seeing the cultures and military cultures far from home.  You could be middle of nowhere Middle East 0200L, American soldiers have these little packets of ground instant coffee in their MREs some will tear open and just dump in their mouths to chew or make the world’s worst drip coffee with, British soldiers will find a dozen ways to heat water to have a cup of tea, and Italian soldiers will be making proper espresso.
