Sack the racists? That’s pretty much a requirement for being a reform member.
If you’re a reform supporter and you’re not a racist then there’s clearly something wrong with you.
It would be like wearing a swastika and saying you love Hitler but you’re totally not a nazi.

This man’s racist views being expressed are a feature of Reform, not an aberration.

He’s not wrong. Lammy is clearly a fifth columnist.

There are two things to note here.
The first is that, if you conduct an objective analysis of the situation, between the whole, *actual war hero*, long military career, and his actual doctorate, Parry has by far the most impressive resume of any Reform candidate that I have observed over the last year. Looking at his CV in isolation, this is exactly the sort of candidate that Reform should be going for, and if Reform were able to get loads more MPs like him, then there is a genuine opportunity of a proper transformation on the right of politics in a manner that would almost certainly be a significant improvement on the previous Conservative party. I am actively impressed they managed to secure a candidate of his quality.
…
He is also pretty clearly a racist arsehole who should not be a candidate for any serious political party.
I think at a deeper level, this represents a fundamental problem with most non-establishment movements, which is that there tends to be a reason why people of quality who both want to be MPs and who would be qualified to be MPs aren’t, and while it is tempting to think it is just because political parties are biased against talent, the more boring answer is often that they are actually just bad people who probably shouldn’t be involved in politics.

So he believes the same things that every single Reform member and voter believes?

It’s a sad fact that an overtly racist party is wildly popular amongst the lesser educated population. The education system in the UK is broken.

I’m a big fan of History Undone on YouTube that he co-host’s, nothing he’s said on any episode has even hinted at him being a racist.
I really hope his comments were not intended as racism and he apologises any unintended offence caused…. but as he’s a reform candidate, racism is expected and will always be the assumed reason for anything he says.
Really disappointed that a man of his education and reputation is associated with such a fundamentally racist party, I expected better. As a historian, he should know better.
