*Snokhach* is a Russian term for a man, typically the head of a large peasant household, who engages in sexual relations with his daughter-in-law (*snokha*). The practice itself is known as [snokhachestvo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snokhachestvo) (снохачество).

This practice was widespread, though generally hush-hush, in Russia until sometime in 20th century.
