Trump pulled the deal because: a) it was a Wednesday he was in a bad mood. b) Congress is not letting him rule by decree. c) He is pissed we won’t take hormone fed beef, chlorinated chicken and food additives that make you glow in the dark. d) we won’t allow access to the NHS, pick one they are just as valid as anything else he comes up with.

There is no point in trying to rationalise his decisions because they are in the main not that rational.

The tech partnership isn’t even a trade deal, and the US official’s quote buried at the bottom doesn’t even talk about anything remotely close to the tech partnership.

Who cares seriously. Be patient, in three year’s time we can get some serious trade deals done or at least have normal conversations with the US.
