      BTW: Does Greece know that they can freely translate it into whatever Monkeydonia they wish, instead of being stubborn about it?

      N. Macedonia has been antagonising its neighbours & the goal is to push voters in Greece and Bulgaria to vote for the anti-EU, far-right parties that promise will fix “important” matters such as these.

      Nationalists are taking the bait and the media who are happy to publish these articles are pouring oil in the fire.

      I heard a YouTuber the other day saying that the Greeks can just call it ‘Monkeydonia’ if they want. I laughed so hard. But seriously, this shouldn’t be a problem in 2025.

      Both Macedonia and Greece have so many problems when it comes to corruption, cost of living, etc. The issue of the “term” Macedonia is so unimportant but since politicians dont want to enact any change they try to make everything about it as a distraction. “We can’t improve material conditions by working with the EU, they want to change our identity”. Then the Greek politicians play into it because they also dont want to do anything either. Decades have been spent making this non issue a core of both Greek and Macedonian identities. Maybe lets get rid of these corrupt fucks and then we can care about what is written on your passport.
