      FYI , russia already had a double demographic problem : ww2 that still comes backe very generation and a very low birthrate due to emmigration and a high alcohol abuse.

      They have now lost several million more of the most important part of the populace for this; young men. Either dead, wounded, crazy , depressed or fled .

      Latest predictions see russia becoming smaller in population then germany.

      Ah, no. The answer is withdraw all forces from Ukraine, pay reparations, remove Putin from power, and give young people a reason to think their country will survive.

      The only reason a country like Russia could allow itself to wage and even win wars through their human wave doctrine, is that before the later half of the 20th century, birth rate was on a constant exponential rise since the industrial revolution. But when you do that in a modern country that’s being hit harder than most by a drop on birth rates, the only thing you are doing is killing your population with no way to replenish it.

      The funniest part about all this is that Russia is making up the difference through immigration, mostly from Islamic countries.

      So while Russian trolls are preaching to brain-fried western conservatives about the conservative trad Christian utopia that Russia is supposed to be, that same Russia is bringing in Muslims faster than “West has fallen!” European countries.

      I’d love to call it hypocrisy, but the word just seems too mild for this situation…

      Sure Putin, because marrying young always fixes everything. No downside at all, like say, financial instability or the immaturity of facing adult life decisions. smh, maybe try investing in good education, better health care, and affordable housing, could help more than just sayin get married sooner. But hey, what do I know. Just a millennial trying to afford an avocado toast.

      People in developed countries aren’t having as many children as before because:
      – Having children is no longer seen as a financial bonus to the parents.
      – Capitalism thrives on individualism, which is contrary to the collectivist nature of families. Success at personal level is seen as more prestigeous than being from a respected family.
      – Not having children is no longer seen as a social malus

      I would’ve thought focusing on prosperity rather than sending children to war could be an answer, but what do I know?

      I think this is one of the main reasons for invading Ukraine: slowing down Russia’s demographic rapid downfall by absorbing new land and population on it.

      Even over 1 million Russians died over Ukraine already, the cold calculation still makes sense. The four regions Russia occupied now alone added over 3 millions already. All of Ukraine is about 30 million. Even half of Ukrainians flee to other countries, still 15 million. Putin thinks he probably needs to throw less than 15 million Russians to get these 15 million Ukrainians.

      If this is really what’s on Putin’s mind. No negotiations or deals will stop the invasion in the long term.

      Putin gets worse and worse ideas.

      Why he dont start it like Hitler did with just forcing the kids into the desired roles ? Oh that sounds too close to nazi shit he pretends to battle in ukraine.

      This is an unbelievable shit show.

      Maybe the reason is, the people are too poor to be able to provide for children which is one of the bigger reasons why b. Rates are lower in many countrys.

      Putin is known to steal almost all of the money of the people and gives it to his oligarchs, family and friends.
