Sure let’s sign a memorandum, maybe around Budapest or something.

  2. GlesgaBawbag on

Crackhead ready to legally confirm he has no intention of smoking crack.

  3. 11160704 on

Why is this even news? We already HAVE such legal assurances. I don’t see the need for more paperwork.

  4. ErikChnmmr on

Nothing Russia signs or says can be considered trustworthy

  5. PledgedCharityMoney on

I am ready to legally confirm I have no intention to go to the toilet tomorrow.

  6. My used toilet paper has more legal weight than anything they sign.

putler, if you want to be believed and trusted you shouldn’t constantly lie and break promises.
Its too late now, your words are worthless. Anyone who trusts you today is naive or paid by you.

  8. Hasn’t it already with assassination, sabotage and cyber attacks.

  9. GrandAdmiralSnackbar on

    Russia speaks? Then Russia lies.

Can’t trust anything the Russian government says. Ever.

  10. First of all, it already has attacked EU and NATO, through election interference, hacks, assassinations and sabotage. Secondly, it has flagrantly ignored prior laws and treaties, so it’s essentially worthless. That’s the major issue with autocrats, they lose credibility over time as their own opinion is law not the law itself.

You see, Russia never attacks, it only defends. So when it invades the Baltics it will be to defend Russian speakers and to tackle the military build up.

  12. Russia rolled out field hospitals at Ukraines border at 2022 and at January 2023 they brought blood supplies to those hospitals that has few month expiration time. Most of Ukrainians still didn’t believed that they going to invade.

  13. ConinTheNinoC on

I am sorry but i just laughed. ”Russia says…” is the funniest thing ever. They also said that they wouldn’t attack Ukraine and where we are now? No. The only thing Russia understands is pain. Cause them pain. There will be no peace untill Russia is broken. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool who learned nothing from the past.

  14. jackthedandiest on

As a Russian I can tell you that in this instance it’s an outright lie, because either current regime keeps waging wars or crumbles into oblivion because of all the problems it has caused internally

  15. Gold-Strength3255 on

How many people out there still trust Russian government? In my eyes, nothing they sign is worth more than the paper that holds this worthless signature.

  16. Fun_Perception8718 on

Zero credibility. This Russian communication is for its domestic median. Not for us. It is not based on rationality. Maybe orange man logic.

  17. petr_bena on

only if they give up all nukes and limit army to max 200k soldiers

  18. Barbarians who committing war crimes, torturing and murdering innocent people, kidnapping and brain washing children, have zero credibility. Wake up world. Ignore this rubbish.

How can you tell when terroruZZians are lying?
    When their lips move.

  20. bonzoboy2000 on

So they are trotting out that old “Non Agression Pact” from 1939?

  21. ilevelconcrete on

What was the attack that was happening as this statement was made??

  22. Candid-Many-7113 on

What does it matter, it has no capability of attacking NATO are a western alliance. This is so silly. I cant repeat this enough: the only reason Russia still exists and/or has not had a regime changes is because they have nukes. Them invading Ukraine or Georgia is not the same as waging a war against NATO countries, lets be real. And even Ukraine has been a disaster for them. Focus on ending Ukraine war and Russia has no motion again.

  23. Old_Credit5771 on

A legal confirmation from Russia is as good as a promise from Trump that he’ll pay his bills

  24. tronzake on

”Article 353 of the Russian Criminal Code prohibits planning, preparing, unleashing, or waging an aggressive war.”

Well I’m sure they’ll follow their own laws in the future! Special military operations don’t count.

  25. ImperatorDanorum on

Didn’t they sign a memorandum concerning Ukraine, saying the same thing…

  26. Illustrious_Peach494 on

Sure, ruski officials can sign it, then fold the piece of paper it was signed on and stick it deep up their arse.

  27. Mano_Tulip on

I am confused, they claimed years ago they’re at war with NATO in Ukraine.

  28. But dear Russia, what about all the other things you didn’t care about in the end?

UN Charter (1945) – Russia violated the prohibition on the use of force by invading and annexing Ukrainian territory without a valid claim of self-defense.

Helsinki Final Act / Helsinki Accords (1975) – Russia violated commitments to respect sovereign borders and refrain from changing borders by force.

Paris Charter for a New Europe (1990) – Russia broke pledges to resolve disputes peacefully and respect the sovereignty of European states.

Almaty Declaration (1991) – Russia violated recognition of former Soviet republics’ existing borders by seizing Ukrainian territory.

CIS Agreements on Territorial Integrity (1991) – Russia breached commitments among post-Soviet states to respect each other’s territorial integrity.

Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances (1994) – Russia violated assurances to respect Ukraine’s independence and borders after Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons.

Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation, and Partnership between Ukraine and Russia (1997) – Russia breached explicit clauses recognizing Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Treaty on the Russian-Ukrainian State Border (2003) – Russia violated the recognized international border by annexing Crimea and occupying other regions.

Agreement on the Status and Conditions of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine (1997) – Russia used basing rights to support military operations against Ukraine, exceeding permitted activities.

OSCE Istanbul Summit Commitments (1999) – Russia failed to withdraw forces from foreign territories and later expanded military presence beyond its borders.

OSCE Vienna Document – Russia violated confidence-building and transparency measures by concealing troop movements and launching surprise invasions.

Minsk Protocol (Minsk I) (2014) – Russia and Russia-backed forces repeatedly violated the ceasefire and continued military operations.

Minsk II Agreement (2015) – Russia failed to uphold ceasefire terms and continued supporting armed forces operating against Ukraine.

Ceasefire Agreements related to Donbas (2014–2022) – Russia repeatedly violated agreed ceasefires through continued shelling and troop support.

European Convention on Human Rights – Russia committed widespread violations including unlawful killings, torture, and repression in occupied territories.

Geneva Conventions – Russia violated international humanitarian law through targeting civilians, forced deportations, and mistreatment of prisoners of war.

Convention Against Torture – Russian forces have been documented using torture and inhuman treatment in occupied areas and detention facilities.

International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights – Russia violated rights to life, liberty, free expression, and due process in occupied territories.

Open Skies Treaty – Russia restricted inspections and access in violation of treaty obligations before effectively abandoning compliance.

NATO-Russia Founding Act (1997) – Russia violated commitments to refrain from threatening or using force against European states.

Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) – Russia suspended compliance and exceeded force limits while deploying unreported military units.

Agreements on Freedom of Navigation in the Sea of Azov and Kerch Strait – Russia unlawfully restricted Ukrainian shipping and seized control of shared waterways.

Given multiple Russian officials confirmed they had no intention of invading Ukraine, and previously declared they weren’t party to the Invasion of Donbas the only logical thing to assume would be that Russia are going to invade EU/NATO states

  30. Krieger2690 on

Any official paper is toilet paper for russia. We should have learnt this by now. It’s been happening for the past 1000 years.
