Prima di Natale, almeno tre civili sono stati uccisi, tra cui un bambino di quattro anni, e più di 20 persone sono rimaste ferite, tra cui un diciassettenne, in un massiccio attacco russo alle infrastrutture energetiche e critiche dell’Ucraina.

Damage was reported in* Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as in the Zhytomyr, Odesa, Chernihiv, Rivne, Sumy, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions.

*Emergency power outages were introduced in several areas, leaving some communities without electricity, heating, or water.*
