Makes sense. Weak Steve Jerkoff is a terrible negotiator

So he desperately needs money? That would explain why he’s sucking up to Putin so much.

DimWitkoff is a looser on all counts. A fifth column asset for the Russians

In most countries if you want a position in the government, especially a diplomatic role, then the intelligence agencies check you out first. To make sure that you are not working for a foreign agency, but also to see if you have vulnerabilities for possible blackmail and extortion that could be used to turn you. Clearly not something they bother with in the US.

  7. What? You mean that this real estate developer that launders russian money is facing bankruptcy? Is that the same guy that is the decades long golf buddy of another real estate guy who also launders russian money and has had several casinos go bankrupt? Gosh. Imagine being flush with post soviet union collapse russian mafia money, and still going bankrupt. With a casino! Multiple times!

Well, I sure hope Witkoff is not in any sort of ongoing negotiations. I mean, otherwise foreign powers might want to use this looming bankruptcy as some sort of lever during said negotiations. I am sure that the [anti-corruption efforts in the DOJ are still going strong](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/firings-pardons-policy-changes-gutted-doj-anti-corruption-efforts-expe-rcna200571).
