Despite amputations and severe wounds, Ukrainian veterans enter the ring, proving that injury does not mark the end of life. Fourteen fighters from across Ukraine entered the ring at the All-Ukrainian Boxing Tournament – not in pursuit of medals, but to regain control over their bodies, their sense of self, and their lives.
This is a story of pain and endurance, and of people who refuse to stop, even when prosthetics fail.
