Around until new years but already have a pit in my stomach about going back. I think this Christmas herself and myself have decided we’re definitely moving home.

Also in Canada – I was making dinner today and I’m just so homesick. Nothing beats an Irish Christmas!
    Safe travels back to Canada!

I was only there for a year and ended up coming home. Felt like I was gone far longer than that and loved every minute of it. Great country though, few things we could learn from them.

  4. Heading back to Canada on the 28th, lived there for 6th years. I feel you man. I’ve a good job/girlfriend in Canada.. but fuck Christmas makes me miss home. I’ve been trying to get home for extended stays at least once a year these days as my job allows it thankfully.

I wasn’t able to get home from Toronto this year. Just bought a gaff we’re moving into next month, so money was tight. Luckily a good few of my friends we’re still in town so it didn’t feel as bad as some years.

As someone who went the other way, I have to admit an Irish Christmas is definitely something special. But I get homesick for Canada around this time too. After all, it’s whenever your folk are, right?
