It’s not a traditional Xmas dinner, but looks lovely. I’d prefer gravy instead of whatever the potatoes are slathered in (butter?).

Lucky man!! I saw another poor fella here who had a Swedish lad cook for him. Cold fishy dinner

  3. Many years ago a German friend proudly cooked us something they called German mashed potato. It was a gloopy combination of potatoes and cheesy sauce that did not appeal to our Irish taste buds. Your picture is bringing back bad memories.

Where’s the leaf-shaped salad plate? No red cabbage? Ah here.

    Frohe Weihnachten.

On the topic of rennie. In Germany you can only get them by asking a pharmacist for them. And sometimes the pharmacist acts like you’re asking for neurofen plus. Have you taken it before? Do you know the correct dose?

BTW, they don’t accept “some” as the correct dosage. And that is the correct dosage. You take some. If it’s still acidy, you take some more

That part of the world like cheese sauce. Lets say the broader Germanic world. Maybe for a cheese fondue, but otherwise what a terrible thing to do with good cheese. Cheese + potatoes + chicken. No thanks.
