      The “record 5,000 times” was in January. It’s being reported now because the data has just been released.

      You can ban whatever you like, unless you give the NHS literally billions to expand or rebuild wards every hospital that previously had mens and womens bays on a ward will continue to have mens and womens bays

      Maybe it’s just me and the people around me, but the idea of my dignity hinging on only sharing spaces with matching genitalia seems very strange. I’d rather be placed relevant to whatever I’m in the hospital for
